The snow is slowly falling outside and I am ever so thankful to be sitting in some warm slippers sipping on coffee. The last few weeks have been jam packed with craziness around here and it's only going to get crazier for us Drubers! At the end of January, Jordan and I will be traveling back to Haiti for a week and then taking a bus over to the Dominican Republic for another week! We are so excited and can't wait to get our traveling hearts back in motion! I haven't even blogged any pictures from Haiti and now we are going back in a month! WHAT!? Feeling really blessed that all the timing worked out. God is good. In other news, this past weekend we traveled to Virginia for a friend's wedding and had a scary start to our trip home...just envision us driving a front wheel drive car through the mountains in 6 inches of snow with no cell service. Let's just say...it was not pretty. We ended up staying the night in a motel in the middle-of-nowhere-West Virgina to wait out the storm. I am so happy to be home and so happy to have my orange fluffy cat keeping my legs warm every chance he can get.
BUT...even though winter is not always my best friend, winter can create some beautiful photos for two people in love. It's so refreshing to have those lovely brown tones after a long summer of green and only green. That's Indiana for ya :) Rachel and David are the bomb dot com. I'm serious, they had me giggling like a fool throughout the whole session. I just love photographing couples that feel like they have been my friends for years. It's such a wonderful connection between photographer and couple...it creates magical photos. Thank you Rachel and David for being super awesome and for choosing me to capture your story. I can't wait to take more pictures of you ridiculously good lookin' people. P.S.....check out these tones...winter does has its perks.
