Q: Ashley! I totally love your work and want to book you for my wedding! What would my next step be?
A: Booking your date is a very simple process! Once you have figured out which wedding package you would like (and have double checked that I am available for your date), I simply email you a contract that must be filled out and returned with a retainer fee! Its that simple! Once that has been completed, your date is officially booked!

Q: Do I have to book you for my wedding to do an engagement session with you?
A: Why of course not! I can do your engagement session regardless of whether I am booked for your wedding! Engagement sessions alone are treated as portrait sessions and begin at $300.

Q: If I order a package that includes a DVD with high res files, do I have to buy prints through you or can I print them on my own through another source?
A: Any time you are purchasing a DVD of high res files, you have the option of printing those pictures wherever you like. I will send a release form along with the DVD that you can take into the company that you choose for printing purposes. With any wedding or portrait session, you will also receive a link to an online proofing gallery. You have the option of purchasing high quality archival prints from that gallery for up to 90 days from when it was posted. Basically, you have tons of options for getting those lovely prints up on the wall!

Q: Do you sell any gallery wraps, albums, or other fancy products?
A: YOU BET I DO! I think that the most meaningful way to get the most out of your pictures is to turn them into works of art on the walls and coffee tables of your home! I currently only offer standard prints, standout mounted prints, gallery wraps, and albums. These can be ordered any time after you have received your photos! For samples and pricing, we shall get together for coffee or talk on the phone and dream up the perfect fit for you!

Q: I just loved the DRU BOOTH! How do I get that at my wedding?
A: Simple! Do you have a wall and super fun crazy people at your reception? Then you qualify! I like to treat the DRU BOOTH as its own mini session at your wedding. Prices would begin at $300, contact me for details!

Q: What in the world should I wear to the engagement session?
A: My main advice would be to wear whatever makes you feel beautiful/handsome and comfortable! Some people actually bring clothes to a session for me to pick out and I have no idea what makes you feel pretty and comfortable! So pick out 2 outfits for the day that have a little color and that totally represent your style! Dont try to be someone else! Also, try to make sure your outfits coordinate (2 bold patterns might look pretty funky together but also wearing the same color might be too funky as well). If you still need more advice, I will gladly give it!

Q: Do you have a studio?
A: I currently do not have a studio. All portrait sessions are shot on location. I love to do sessions in places that mean something to you personally or as couple (and we can figure out those locations together).

Q: Ashley, I have tons of questions and you didn't answer them here! What do I do?
A: You email me (info@ashleydru.com) and I will answer any questions you may have! Even if you ask me what my favorite food is, I will oblige! (It's ice cream and pickles by the way :) not together though!)
